The parameters are similar. I haven't Canon 40D, so I don't know which photos are better. But I think that 400D is not as good as 40D....

ah thank you .. coz I was planning on going for a 40d but i havent had any personal experience with it. So I thought I might just ask you coz you seem to own a 400D. What flexibility does it offer over general digital cameras like the cybershot and etc ...?
